JUSTICE P SREE SUDHA ORAL ORDER Though this matter has come up for admission, with consent of learned counsel for the parties, the same is taken up for final hearing and disposed of by this order. 2. This petition is filed by wife for transfer of divorce petition in M.C.No.20/2025 filed by husband for divorce and is pending before the Senior Civil Judge at Doddaballapura to transfer to VI Additional Family Judge, where MC.No.1862/2025 filed by the petitioner is pending. 3. It is submitted that initially, the husband filed MC No.18/2020 for restitution of conjugal rights and later withdrawn the same and filed divorce petition. It is stated that distance between Bangalore and Doddaballapura is 50 kms. The father of the petitioner is suffering from brain hemorrhage - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:1973 CP No. 224 of 2025 and is under continuous medical treatment. Now the petitioner/wife is residing along with her brother at Bangalore. The wife has also filed MC 1862/2025 for divorce including maintenance before Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru. Thus requested for transfer of MC No.20/2025 filed by husband for divorce. 4. As both the applications are for divorce, this Court finds it reasonable that it is to be decided by same Court to avoid conflicting decisions and thus MC.No.20/2025 filed before Senior Civil Judge, Doddaballapura is to be transferred to Additional Family Court, Bangalore, to try along with MC No.1862/2025.
