Admittedly, no new Local Cable Operator has been appointed by the respondents. The mere installation of additional set-top boxes through the existing Local Cable Operators cannot, by itself, be construed as a violation of the interim order restraining the appointment of new Local Cable Operators. 4. Accordingly, this Court is of the view that no case of wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court is made out. Hence, the Contempt Petitions are closed. 10.07.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No PKN 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P(MD)Nos.1195 and 1370 of 2026 To 1.
