Nongrum, GA By this petition, the petitioners are essentially seeking quashing of the show-cause notice issued to them in connection with the Khanapara P.S. Case No. 18(03)/2026 and, consequently, the investigation carried out by the said Khanapara Police Station. Serial No. 03 Daily List 2026:MLHC:744 2. Mrs. N.G. Shylla, learned PP, informs this Court that investigation is complete and charge-sheet has been filed. She submits that during the course of investigation, statements have been recorded and some articles have been seized. 3. In view of the statement made by the learned PP, Mrs N.G. Shylla, learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition since the reliefs sought in the petition do not survive. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the investigation carried out by the Police and as such, all contentions of all parties, on merits are kept open. 5. Needless to state, that the petitioners are always at liberty to file appropriate proceeding, as is maintainable in law, before the appropriate forum.
