Heard both the sides. This bail application has been filed on behalf of the Silas Marandi @ Shilas Marandi who is in custody since 18.09.2025 in connection with Godda Mahila P.S. Case No. 05 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. No. 1059 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 69 of the B.N.S, 2023 pending in the Court of learned CJM, at Godda. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim girl is major, aged 24 years, and the case has been lodged after three months of the alleged date of incident. The victim girl was also married and had earlier lodged a case bearing Sahibganj Mahila P.S. Case No. 02/2023 under Section 498A of IPC and Sections 3/ 4 of D.P. Act against her husband-April Murmu and her in- laws, a copy of which has been enclosed as Annexure-2. There is no material to show that there was any inducement on the part of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail but has not disputed the factual assertions made on behalf of the petitioner. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
