Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of respondents. 2. By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “1. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the Award dated 27.06.2018 passed by the Labour Court in Ref. No. 46/2015. 2. Direct the respondents to grant the petitioner all consequential benefits including back wages, continuity of service and monetary benefits in lieu of reinstatement. 3. Direct the respondents to pay benefits under Section 17 of the Industrial Disputes Act during the pendency of the proceedings.” 3. This Court is of the considered view that as far as the prayer of implementation of the Award passed by the learned Labour Court through the medium of a writ is concerned, the relief is misconceived, as the petitioner has to approach the Labour Court for implementation of the Award.
