The petitioner, who was in occupation of public land, was evicted for the purpose of constructing a stadium for public use. 2. Aggrieved by the dispossession, the writ petitioner preferred an appeal before the District Collector. Pending disposal of the said statutory appeal dated 14.07.2023, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents from in any manner altering the structure of the building situated in the Survey No.441/1A1A3, St.Thomas Mount village, 3. Accordingly, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the appeal pending before the 1st respondent was disposed of on 09.07.2026, whereby the same was rejected. 4. In view of the disposal of the statutory appeal, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
