Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed an application to the respondents dated 25.02.2026 seeking license for erection of hoarding. However, the said application has not been considered so far by respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3. At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3 that the application dated 25.02.2026 filed by the petitioner would be considered by the third respondent and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 4. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the application dated 25.02.2026 of the petitioner, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 25158 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons, within a period of four weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the application and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the application on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5.
