Mr. Rajendra Arya, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. G.S. Negi, learned Additional C.S.C. for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher – L.T. Grade (English). According to him, he became due for promotion pay scale in the year 2021 but the same has not been given to him. Relief sought in the writ petition, is as under: - (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent to grant a benefit of promotional pay scale w.e.f. year 2021 to the petitioner from the date of his entitlement in pursuant to the government orders dated 12.07.2022, 22.01.2010 and 06.09.2019. 4. Learned State Counsel submits that since petitioner has made a representation to the Competent Authority, therefore, he may be directed to take decision thereupon. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to Regional Additional Director, Nainital to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within ten weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
