No. 1637 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 ORDER This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 22.06.2026 seeking adequate police protection to the petitioner’s life and property comprised in Old Survey No.20, New Survey No.20/2A and 20/1, measuring an extent of 35 cents, situated at Door No.12/2, inner Ring Road, Koyambedu, Chennai, as against the respondents 2 to 6 herein. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record. 3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 6 herein, and dispose of the same in the light of the Judgment and Decree passed in O.S.No.3584 of 2012 on the file of the IV Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP Crl.
