The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to conclude the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.2194/2026/A1 dated 23.05.2026. The petitioner has filed a complaint under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, seeking cancellation of the settlement deeds dated 03.05.2010 and 14.08.2025 executed in favour of respondents 3 and 4. Learned Government Counsel, on instructions, submits that the enquiry will be concluded within such time as may be fixed by this Court. 4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to conclude the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.2194/2026/A1 dated 23.05.2026, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. It is needless to observe that the second respondent shall afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned before passing appropriate orders. It is also made clear that all the contentions of the parties are left open.
