For Petitioner(s): Ms.D.Jeevitha For Respondent(s): Mr.M.Prakash O R D E R This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to condone the delay of 51 days in filing the above revision petition against the order dated 14.10.2025 passed in C.A.No. 265/2024 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Attur, confirming the sentence imposed in the judgment dated 29.05.2024 made in S.T.C.No. 45 of 2023 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Attur. __________ Page1 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL MP No. 5256 of 2026 2.The learned Advocate appearing for the respondent has filed counter affidavit, which is taken on record. On perusal of the counter affidavit, it is seen that no new facts have been stated objecting the petition filed to condone the delay in filing the Criminal Revision Case. 3.Accordingly, considering the reasons stated by the petitioner in his affidavit, which is justifying and convincing, this Court condones the delay in filing the Criminal Revision Case. Hence, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. 4.Office is directed to number the Criminal Revision Case within 24 hours and put up the case on 10.08.2026. 5.The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that her client is ready to settle the dispute and in this regard, she further submitted that she will bring a demand draft of Rs.2,00,000/- in the name of the respondent, by the next hearing date fixed. 6.Mr.M.Prakash, learned counsel for the respondent, submitted that he has no objection if the petitioner brings the draft of cheque amount.
