Nitesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the inaction of the respondents in not releasing the bill amount of Rs.21,01,333/- admittedly due to the petitioner despite the Successful completion of work in terms of the agreement No.17/2024-25 dated 10.02.2025 undertaking the Repairs to SW boys Hostel Building at Parla Village, Kallur Mandal, Kurnool District. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the 2nd respondent issued proceedings dated 09.12.2024 for maintenance and repairs of 24 hostels and allocated budget of Rs.7,89,99,000/-. In furtherance of the same, a tender notice was issued for execution of “Repairs to SW boys Hostel 3 Building at Parla Village, Kallur Mandlal, Kurnool District”. The petitioner had participated in the tender process and he was the successful bidder. The 5th respondent had entered into an agreement dated 10.02.2025 with the petitioner. The gross value of work is Rs.31,67,778/- and the net amount payable after statutory deductions is Rs.29,48,480/-. The petitioner had completed the work within the time. The respondent authorities have also issued the quality control certificate. It is contended that the respondents paid part payment to a tune of Rs.8,47,147/- to the petitioner. However, the balance amount of Rs.21,01,333/- has not been paid to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant writ petition. 4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare placed before the Court a copy of the written remarks dated 30.06.2026 received from the 3rd respondent. A perusal of the same reflects that the amount of Rs.21,01,333/- is shown as payable, pending in the APCFMS portal for want of budget. It is further stated that as soon as the funds are cleared by the Finance Department, the amount of Rs.21,01,333/- would be credited to the petitioner’s account. 5. Having regard to the above as Rs.21,01,333/- is an admitted amount, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to release the admitted bill amount of Rs.21,01,333/- to the 4 petitioner within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
