ORDER This application has been filed to accept the offer of Rs.2,39,40,000/- (Rupees Two Crores Thirty Nine Lakhs Forty Thousand Only) as entire sale
consideration and declare the applicant as successful purchaser of the Dharmathupatti Project, situate at Kasavanampatti and Chatrapatti Revenue Villages, Dindigul District, admeasuring 79.800 Acres, comprised in survey numbers mentioned in the schedule of the Judges Summons belonging to M/s.Sterling Tree Magnam India Ltd. (In Liquidation)
2. It has been brought to the notice of this Court that, pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 05.06.2026, the Superintendent of Police, CBCID, has also registered an FIR as against the applicant as well as the employee of the office of the Official Liquidator. A further statement had also been made that both of the accused had confessed to the crime that had been committed by them and it has also been placed on record that the charge sheet would be filed at the earliest. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. The Official Liquidator would submit that the employee had been placed under suspension and seeks permission of this Court to initiate disciplinary proceedings. The respondent, being the employer of the accused, is entitled to proceed further in accordance with law and the pendency of the criminal case against him will not stand in the way of the disciplinary proceedings that is to be initiated by the respondent.
4. The present application, which had been filed, seeking permission to purchase the property, in view of the fact that a criminal case had been registered against the applicant for creating and fabricating documents including the orders of this Court, stands dismissed.
