JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER Date : 27.04.2026 The instant application has been filed praying for stay of the judgment and award dated 27.10.2025 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge cum Member MACT, Sribhumi in MAC Case No.52/2021. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant Ms. R.D. Mozumdar. It is the submission of the learned counsel that the appellant has preferred the connected MACApp.181/2026 against the impugned judgment and award dated 27.10.2025 and it is submitted that the appellant has taken good grounds of appeal which is likely to succeed and therefore for the ends of justice it is prayed that the judgment and award dated 27.10.2025 may be stayed during the pendency of the appeal. This Court has considered the prayer of the appellant and the reasons stated in the application and finds that the applicant has been able to make out a case for suspension of the judgment and award. Accordingly, the impugned judgment and award dated 27.10.2025 shall remain suspended subject to deposit of 50% of the awarded amount by the appellant within a period of 6(six) weeks from today.
