The petitioner alleges that the private respondent has put a padlock to the door of the building owned by him for which he is unable to enter the said building. The petitioner seeks police assistance for removal of the said padlock. In view of the fact that the petitioner is allegedly resisted from entering his residence by the private respondent, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance. In the meantime the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and to ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs.
