This contempt petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India has been filed for taking cognizance against the respondents for disobedience of direction issued in the WPS No.63/2026 (Rahul Tiwari Vs. State of CG and Ors) decided on 15.01.2026 by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. The operative paragraph of the said order is reproduced hereunder:- "8. In the aforementioned facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of at this stage directing the respondent authorities to decide the application submitted by the petitioner dated 15.05.2025 (Annexure P/3) making a prayer for supply of the relevant documents as mentioned therein within a period of 02 weeks and to supply the documents as prayed for and if for any reason, any of the document as prayed could not be supplied, then a reasoned order should be passed in this regard. Further, considering that the charge-memo was issued on 08.01.2025, the respondent authorities are directed to conclude the proceedings at the earliest without any further delay, after taking decision on the application submitted by the petitioner, subject to cooperation of the petitioner. 9. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of." 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents/Authorities have not passed order in consonance with the order dated 15.01.2026 passed in WPS No.63/2026 and no documents have been received by the petitioner. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents would submit that, as per instructions, in compliance of order passed by this Court in earlier writ petition, the Authorities have made various communications to the petitioner by letter dated 07.01.2026, 10.01.2026 and 22.01.2026 and 3 also made communication through Whatsapp to appear before the Authority and receive the document, despite that the petitioner did not appear before the respondents. Due to the such reasons, departmental proceedings have not been completed. 4. Perusal of copies of letters dated 07.01.2026, 10.01.2026 and 22.01.2026 placed before this Court by counsel for respondent, it appears that several opportunities have been granted to the petitioners to appear and collect the relevant document. In such circumstances, this Court does not find any reason to proceed in this contempt petition. 5. The petitioner is directed to appear before the office of respondent No.1 and receive the relevant documents. Thereafter, the respondents/Authorities shall comply the subsequent direction made in Writ Petition (S) No.63/2026. 6. Accordingly, the contempt is disposed of. 7.
