CRM(A) 4235 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.518 of 2025 dated 10.10.2025 under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/117(2)/109(1)/103/351(2)/ 3(5) of the BNS. And
In the matter of: Sk. Laltu @ Sk. Najimuddin and another … petitioners
Mr. Arnab Chatterjee
Mr. Arif Ekbal Molla … for the petitioners
Mr. Avishek Sinha
Ms. Jonaki Saha
... for the State
Leave is granted to amend the cause-title. Heard learned counsels for the parties. Perused the case diary. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the post-mortem report and the statements of witnesses, especially those of eyewitnesses which are present at pages 89, 92 and 94 of the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
