Heard Sri. Giri Kumar S.V., learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in both the cases, Sri. K. Nageshwarappa, learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1 in Crl.P.No.6862/2023, Sri. B.H. Bhagavan, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 in Crl.P.No.6862/2023 and for respondent No.1 in Crl.P.No.6867/2023 and have perused the material on record. 3. The parties to the lis were also before the Family Court in M.C.No.52/2025, wherein a petition is filed under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for divorce on mutual consent. The condition in the said petition filed also contains closure of all the cases pending. It reads as follows: "9. Writ Petitions before Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka: a. W.P. Both Petitioners mutually agree that all the above matters shall be withdrawn. in the interest of justice and equity." 4. A joint affidavit to that effect is also filed by both the husband and wife. In furtherance of the aforesaid, the petitioners have placed before the concerned Court the joint memo and the concerned Court has kept the matter for tomorrow i.e., 24.01.2026 for ordering on the joint memo. 6. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the present petitions pending would pose as an impediment for consideration by the concerned Court on the joint memo. In that light, I deem it appropriate to accept the memo filed by these petitioners seeking closure of these proceedings on account of the settlement arrived at between the parties. 7.
