Considering the nature of prayer sought for, this Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself, without ordering notice to the Respondent/Complainant. While suspending the sentence in the exercise of its jurisdiction granted under the Negotiable Instruments Act. 3. The Trial Court had directed the Petitioner/Appellant/Accused to deposit 20% of the compensation amount on or before 30.06.2026. As the Petitioner was unable to comply with the said condition within the stipulated time, therefore this Criminal Original Petition has been filed. Normally, such order is passed only after hearing the Respondent/Complainant. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 5. Considering the above, time is extended by another thirty (30) days as the Petitioner has applied for a loan from the Department and he is ready to comply with the condition. 6.
