JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER Date : 27.04.2026 1. Heard Mr. A. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. N. Ahmed, learned counsel for the respondent No.1. 2. The instant application has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 praying for condoning the delay of 56 days in filing the appeal against the Judgment and Award dated 29.07.2025, passed by the learned Member Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Barpeta in MAC Case No.101/2023. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the main causes for the delay have been set out at the paragraphs No.3, 4, 5 and 6 of the application. 4. This Court has perused the same and finds that sufficient cause has been shown to explain the delay of 56 days in filing the appeal. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents has also not objected to the instant applicant. 6. Accordingly, the delay stands condoned. 7. Registry shall register the connected MAC Appeal and thereafter list the same after one week for admission hearing. 8. With the aforesaid direction, the I.A. stands disposed of.
