Mr. Bilal Ahmad, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Sushil Vashisth, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher, Government Primary School, vide order dated 27.01.2026 and she was posted in Government Primary School, Auring, Augustmuni, District Rudraprayag. Since there were only nine students in Government Primary School, Auring, and there were two Assistant Teachers serving there, therefore, Deputy Education Officer, Augustmuni had directed Headmaster of the said school to relieve one teacher for his joining in Government Primary School in Augustmuni. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: - (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents, particularly respondent no. 6, to comply with the order/ letter dated 09.02.2026 (Annexure-2) issued by respondent no. 5 and to relieve the petitioner for joining Government Primary School Augustmuni forthwith. 5. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, however, submits that in view of a resolution passed by School Management Committee, Government Primary School Auring, Deputy Education 2026:UHC:1434 Officer, Augustmuni has recalled his order dated 09.02.2026. Learned State Counsel thus submits that after recall of the order dated 09.02.2026 by the Competent Authority, the relief, as claimed by the petitioner does not survive. 6. This Court finds substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel. Since the order sought to be enforced by petitioner has been recalled by the Competent Authority, therefore, no direction can be issued to comply with the order dated 09.02.2026. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
