ORAL JUDGMENT
(PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL)
This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order of the learned Single Judge dated 23.06.2023, passed in W.P.No.5626/2023.
2. The operative portion of the order reads as under;
"9. Two weeks are granted to the petitioner to furnish all the requisite information as noticed hereinabove to the Panchayath Development Officer. Thereafter, the Panchayath Development Officer shall consider the same, afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and thereafter proceed to pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four weeks from the date when the information is given by the petitioner.
10. It is made clear that the consideration of the Panchayath Development Officer shall be only in respect of the sites carved in Sy. No.54 and not the Sy.No.52 which are mentioned in the memo dated 12.06.2023. Petitioner has similar grievance in respect of other properties where he seeks E-katha, then that would be a different cause of action and necessary representations shall be given by the petitioner giving details and same shall be considered in accordance with law."
