The Petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a) To quash the endorsement dated 18.08.2023 issued by the 2nd Respondent in SL.No.1660/2023 vide Annexure-A and direct the R2 to issue modified/corrected Birth certificate in the interest of justice. b) Issue such other relief or reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice. 2. The grievance of the Petitioners is that the request made by the petitioners for correction of the name of Petitioner No.2, the mother, post the adoption of the minor Swaroop @ M. Learned counsel for the Respondents submits that the entry which has been made by the Respondents in pursuance of the order dated 20.04.2018 in Misc.Case.No.20/2018, where the name of the mother has been shown as Mrs. Premavathi B. Rai and as such, the said name has been entered. If at all any change has to be made that can only be in pursuance of any directions issued by the Court which had passed the order in Misc.Case.No.20/2018 which the Respondents who abide by. 4. His submission answers the grievance of the Petitioners.
