No. 1633 of 2026 4.The respondents are directed to release the convict viz., Vivek S/o Srinivasan, aged about 32 years, confined at Central Prison-1, Puzhal, Chennai – 600066 on ordinary leave for a period of six (6) days without escort i.e., from 14.07.2026 to 19.07.2026. 5.The convict shall be released on 14.07.2026 at 10.00 A.M. and is directed to surrender before the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison-1, Puzhal, Chennai-600066, on 20.07.2026 before 10.00 A.M. The convict shall report before the Inspector of Police, J-4 Kotturpuram Police Station, Chennai on every alternate day at 4.30 p.m., during the period of leave and shall abide by all the conditions prescribed in the Jail Manual. 6.This Writ Petition is allowed to the above extent.
