Learned counsel Ms. M. Saikia for the applicant, SBI General Insurance Company Ltd., has prayed for condonation of delay of 34 (Thirty Four) days in filing the connected appeal against the judgment dated 24.03.2025 passed by the Commissioner of Employee’s Compensation, Golaghat in E.C. Case No. 05/2024.
2. Learned counsel Mr. D. Kherkatary is present for respondents No. 1 to 3 and has submitted that they have no objection if the delay is condoned.
3. The Lawazima Court’s order dated 18.11.2025 indicates that the postal tracking report reveals that notice has been delivered to respondents No. 1 & 5 on 23.08.2025 and notice has been delivered to respondent No. 4 on
25.08.2025.

4. Notice is thereby served on respondents No. 4 and 5.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that there was a delay of 34 (Thirty Four) days in filing the connected appeal as the judgment and order dated 24.03.2025 was received by the Guwahati Office of the appellant on 20.05.2025 which was forwarded by the dealing advocate at Golaghat vide his letter dated 09.05.2025. After obtaining certain clarification from the advocate by the Guwahati office, the panel advocate asked for certified copies of the judgment as well as the other documents from the appellant vide mail dated 16.06.2025. After receipt of the said document, the appeal was filed on 27.06.2025, resulting in the delay of 34 (Thirty Four) days.
6. I have considered the submissions at the bar.
7. The delay has been reasonably explained. No malafide could be deciphered.
8. Delay is hereby condoned.
9. Registry to register the connected appeal.
10. In terms of the above observations, this application stands disposed of.
