By way of instant petition, very innocuous prayer has been made by the petitioner to issue direction to the respondents to consider and decide his application for parole, which is stated to be pending consideration since 2.9.2025.

Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General while putting in appearance on behalf of the respondents, states that though he has reason to presume and believe that by now, application must have been decided, but if not, same shall be decided expeditiously.

Consequently, in view of the fair stand adopted by the learned Additional Advocate General, present petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to ensure that application for parole,
- 2 - if any, filed by the petitioner, if not already decided, shall be decided expeditiously, preferably, within two weeks. All pending applications are disposed of. February 27, 2026
