ORDER This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to relax the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.9127 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
of 2026 dated 06.05.2026 that “the petitioner shall stay at Salem and report before the B1 Salem City Town Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m, until further orders”.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court till 12.06.2026 and thereafter, he has not complied with the same.
3. In response, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the the petitioner had regularly complied with the condition by reporting before the Salem City Town Police Station. However, subsequently, to eke out his livelihood, he came to Thoothukudi District and therefore, he was not able to appear before the concerned Police Station and hence, the same may be modified. He would further submit that the petitioner is now ready to comply with the condition imposed by this Court.
4. Considering the above submissions, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.9127 of 2026 dated 06.05.2026, is modified and the petitioner is directed to appear before the Trial Court once in a week, i.e., on every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of six weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
