No.12849 of 2026 Section 420 of IPC, in Crime No.154 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police seek anticipatory bail. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were earlier granted anticipatory bail by this Court, in Crl.OP(MD)No.7412 of 2025 on 22.10.2025. However, they are unable to furnish surety before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanniyakumari District within time. Hence, filed this petition for the very same relief. 3. From the perusal of the records, it shows that though the petitioners were already granted anticipatory bail, they are unable to furnish surety and filed this petition for the very same relief. This Court is of the considered view that this petition is filed only for the purpose of furnishing surety, and hence, it is appropriate to extend the time for furnishing surety. 4. Accordingly, 2 weeks time is granted to the petitioners to comply with the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.7412 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP(MD).
