ORDER This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to modify the condition in paragraph No.7(b) of the order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8973 of 2026 dated 08.06.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8973 of 2026, by order dated 08.06.2026, with certain conditions including, “the petitioners shall report before the Respondent Police daily at 10.30 am until further orders”. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioners are senior citizens and hence, they are unable to comply with the said condition.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. On careful perusal of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No. 8973 of 2026 dated 08.06.2026, it is seen that only after taking note of the age of the petitioners and other circumstances, this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners. However, the petitioners have not complied with the condition even for a single day and now they have come forward seeking modification of the conditions on the ground that they are senior citizens. Hence, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8973 of 2026 dated
08.06.2026. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
