However, again the petitioner is being harassed by the respondents police. 3.According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, the third respondent/defacto complainant had challenged the closure report before this Court in WP(MD) No.1831 of 2026 and this Court by way of order, dated 06.04.2026 directed the second respondent to re-open the case and conduct the enquiry, after issuing proper notice. Therefore, the respondents police are continuing with the enquiry. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that the order of this Court in WP(MD) No.1831 of 2026, dated 06.04.2026 has 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.OP(MD) No.13826 of 2026 not been complied with by the police officials and in such circumstances, the present petition has been filed seeking to stop the enquiry. 5.Heard the learned counsels appearing for the petitioner and respondents and also perused the materials available on record. 6.This Court by an order, dated 06.04.2026 in WP(MD) No.1831 of 2026) had reopened the case and directed the second respondent police to complete the enquiry within a period of three weeks. However, the police officials have not yet completed it.
