Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly situated as Rana Gope and Surya Debnath who have been granted bail.
Records reflect that in Criminal Appeal no.3599 of 2025 the Hon’ble Supreme Court in its order dated August 19, 2025 was pleased to release one of the accused persons on bail.
Having considered that the petitioner is similarly situated as the said accused persons, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Biplab Haldar shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty
2 Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Special (POCSO Court), Barasat, North 24 Parganas. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date before the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of 24 Parganas (north) without the prior permission of the learned special court.
Accordingly, CRM(M) 2485 of 2025 is allowed.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
