Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12582 of 2026 Protection of Children) Act, in Crime No.114 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner joining hands with other accused found in possession of 100 grams of Ganja and she was arrested with contraband. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and she was falsely implicated in this case and she has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Only based on the confession statement of the co-accused she was implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody from 04.06.2026. Hence, he prayed bail for the petitioner.
4. The learned Counsel appearing for the State reiterated the prosecution case and reported that the petitioner was arrested with contraband and she is having 15 previous case. Investigation in this case is still pending. He opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12582 of 2026 records. 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and though the quantity involved in this case falls under the category of small quantity, considering the previous cases and the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail at this stage. 7.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
