Heard Mr. T.Aswin Raja Simman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.F.Deepak, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. 3. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against respondent Nos.2 to 5, notice to them is dispensed with. 4.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 27.06.2026 to respondent Nos.2 to 4 requesting them not to shift the transformer presently situated in front of the fifth respondent's building and not to erect any other electrical equipment in close proximity to the petitioner's residential building, as the same is likely to pose a threat to human life and property and adversely affect the petitioner's right to peaceful living. The petitioner also requested the respondents to consider the said representation dated 27.06.2026 within the time stipulated by this Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6. The learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent has no serious objection to such a direction being issued. 7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim, this Writ Petition is
disposed of with a direction to the respondent Nos.2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
