(Collectorate, Bapatla), as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300 A of the Constitution of India. 2. The case of the petitioners is briefly stated, as follows: The petitioners are the absolute owners and possessors of the land to an extent of Ac. 1.45 cents in the subject land having acquired the same through a registered sale deed vide document No.1936 / 2008, dated 21.08.2008. Since then, the petitioners are in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject land. An application to the Tahsildar, Chinaganjam Mandal of Bapatla District, was made for conducting survey of the subject land and demarcating its boundaries. The Tahsildar forwarded the same to the Mandal Surveyor, Chinaganjam directing to conduct survey. The Mandal Surveyor submitted the survey report on 18.12.2023. While the things stood thus, basing on the said report, the petitioners applied to the respondent No.2 in P.G.R.S. vide grievance No.BPT202602026570, dated 02.02.2026 for mutation of their names in the revenue records. However, the respondent No.4 closed the grievance as ‘rejected’ stating that the petitioners failed to provide the patta of the subject land granted by the government despite the same being a private patta land. The petitioners approached the respondent 3 W.P.No.17806 of 2026 No.4 several times, but failed to consider their request. Hence, this writ petition was filed. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration placed on record a copy of the written instructions of the respondent No.4, vide dated nil .07.2026 is as follows: “It is submitted that the land in S.No.674/2 total extent of Ac.6.45 of Pedaganjam village patta land. Out of the total extent of Ac.6.45 an extent of Ac.1.45 are under the enjoyment of the petitioners. It is submitted that the reasons not known that it might be a technical error that the S.No.674/2. Ac.6.45 was not ported in webland portal. It is submitted that necessary proposals are being submitted to the Collector, Bapatla through the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chirala to port the S.No.674/2, Ac.6.45 in webland. After completion of porting of S.No.674/2 in webland portal, necessary action will be taken to record the names of the petitioners in webadangal following the procedure.” 4. In view thereof, the learned counsel for the petitioners requested to dispose of the writ petition recording the written instructions and further fixing a time for finalizing the proceedings. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take necessary steps, as mentioned in the written instructions, and complete the same within three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4 W.P.No.17806 of 2026 There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed. ___________________ B. S.
