And In the matter of : Bijoy Das. ……Petitioner. Mr. Shibaji Kumar Das Ms. Maitrayee Das ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Soumik Ganguly Mr. Subhasish Datta ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 132 days and there has hardly been any recovery from the possession of the present petitioner. Petitioner has been implicated on the basis of statement of co-accused. Learned advocate for the State has produced the Case Diary and drawn the attention of the Court to the seizure list which reflects that from the custody of the present petitioner allegedly fake documents including Aadhaar Card were obtained. Having considered the nature of the allegations and the purpose of the investigation, at this stage the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Accordingly, CRM (M) 217 of 2026 is dismissed. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the stage of consideration of charges is over. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
