Mr.M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, learned counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu, appearing for the respondent, brought to the notice of this Court that as against the order passed by this Court in the main writ petition, which is alleged to have been violated in the present contempt petition, the respondent carried the matter in appeal vide W.A.(MD) No.946 of 2026 and the learned Division Bench of this Court, vide order dated 03.07.2026, granted interim stay. 3. In the said circumstances, this contempt petition is closed granting liberty to the petitioner for reopening of the same after the disposal of the said writ appeal, if necessary.
