2026:JHHC:5880 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 929 of 2026 ------ Adarsh Jha, S/o Laxmi Narayan Jha, R/o Shiv Ganga Lane, P.O. & P.S.- Deoghar Town, Dist.-Deoghar, Jharkhand .... .... …. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand .... .... .... Opposite Party CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GAUTAM KUMAR CHOUDHARY For the Petitioner : Mr. Shubham Malviya, Advocate Mr. Manish Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Saket Kumar, APP ------ Order No.02 / Dated : 27.02.2026. Heard both the sides. This bail application has been filed on behalf of Adarsh Jha who is in custody since 27.07.2025 in connection with Deoghar Town P.S. Case No. 230 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 351(4), 352, 308(5), 111(4), 109(1) and 3(5) of the BNS and Section 27 of Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Deoghar, is pressed into motion. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected by this Court on merit and the prayer for bail of the petitioner is being renewed on the ground that the informant has been examined during trial and he has not supported the case. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Examination of a witness during trial cannot alone be a ground to revisit the order of rejection of bail petition. I do not find any change of circumstance for renewing his prayer for bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected again. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.) Pawan/ Uploaded 27.02.2026
