ORDER This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry based upon the representations given by the petitioner dated 19.06.2026 and 21.06.2026, seeking appropriate action against the third respondent and others.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent representations seeking appropriate action against the third respondent and also police protection for fencing the property. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the representations given by the petitioner, CSR Nos. 218 and 220 of 2026 have been issued on 19.06.2026.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the third respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent police is directed to petitioner's complaint in CSR Nos.218 and 220 of 2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Upon conclusion of the enquiry, if it is found necessary that the petitioner be provided with adequate protection, the second respondent police shall afford appropriate police protection to the petitioner, subject to payment of the requisite charges, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
