In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: a) To issue writ of mandamus directing the respondents 4 to 6 to consider the application dated 30.01.2025 filed by the petitioner for the post of Head Cook at Government Primary School, Pulagundlahalli Village, Murugamalla Hobli, Chinthamani Taluk, Chikkaballapur which is produced at Annexure-C. b) To call for records pertaining to the selection process and grant such other relief/s deems fit by this Hon'ble court. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that respondent- Grama Panchayat vide notification dated 22.01.2025 (Annexure-A) had invited applications to the post of Head Cook to respondent No.5, School, under the Akshara Dasoha Scheme. Pursuant to the said notification, petitioner had applied for the said post. However, till today, the respondents have not taken any decision with - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:1094 WP No. 12978 of 2025 regard to the appointment of Head Cook under the Akshara Dasoha Scheme in terms of the notification. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. Since the respondents have not taken any decision pursuant to notification at Annexure-A, it is suffice for this Court to direct the respondent Nos.2, 3 and 6 to take a decision with regard to appointment of Head Cook under Akshara Dasoha Scheme to respondent No.5, School, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible not later than four months from date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
