Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “a. That writ of certiorari may kindly be issued and impugned transfer order along with corrigendum dated 6.4.2026 (Annexure P-5) qua private respondent be quashed and set aside; b. That a writ of mandamus may kindly be issued whereby directions be issued to the Respondents to continue the re-employment of the petitioner as notification dated 27.8.2025 till the end of academic session of 2025-26 in terms of notification dated 27.8.2025 in the interest of justice and fair play.” 2. Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions dated 20.04.2026, relevant portion whereof relating to the petitioner reads as under:- “1. The implementation of the transfer/posting order in respect of the official at Sr. No. 06, namely Sh. Sohan 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:12648 Kumar, Assistant Professor (Mathematics). shall remain in abeyance till the completion of the extension period of Smt. Sarita Kumari, i.e., up to 31.05.2026.” 3. In light of this development, this petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such, but with the observation that as pointed out in order dated 20.04.2026, the name of the petitioner is reflected as Sarita Kumari, whereas the name of the petitioner is only Sarita.
