For the State : A.P.P. --------- 02/23.03.2026 Heard Mr. Ashutosh Ranjan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Naudiha Bazar P.S. Case No. 93 of 2025. It has been alleged that there was a love affair between the daughter of the informant and the petitioner and physical relationship was also established. The petitioner had also prepared an objectionable video of the daughter of the informant. It has been alleged that the petitioner had sent two tablets through Ashok Kumar to the daughter of the informant for treatment of fever and after using the tablets the health of the daughter of the informant deteriorated and the Doctor had opined that the tablets which were consumed by her was poisonous. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner and the daughter of the informant are married and both are staying together. Learned counsel for the petitioner further been submits that the petitioner is in custody since 09.02.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It appears from the marriage certificate that the so-called marriage was solemnized after the institution of the First Information Report and, therefore, the veracity of the marriage certificate itself is in doubt. It further appears that the victim is a minor and on consideration of the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
