The petitioners are apprehending their arrest arrested in connection with Barwadih P.S. case No. 70 of 2024, registered for the offence u/s 281, 317, 3 of B.N.S., 2023, section 11(1)(a), section 11(1) (d), section 11 (1) (e) of Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act and Rule 47, 48, 49, 51, 52, 54, 56 of Transport of Animals Rules, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Latehar. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners have nothing to do with the bovine animals, which was being carried in the vehicle. He next submits that the name of the petitioners have come in the confessional statement of Jawed Akhtar, who has been granted anticipatory bail in ABA No. 8101 of 2024. He further submits that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedents as disclosed in para 8 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioners have come in the 2026:JHHC:5352 2 confessional statement. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioners have come in the confessional statement of the co-accused and the co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid ABA and the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent, in that view of the matter, the petitioners above named are directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks and the learned Court shall release the petitioners on such terms and condition and sureties, the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
