W.P.(MD) Nos.18681 and 18685 of 2026 respondent to consider allotting an alternative shop to them by considering their respective representations dated 13.02.2026. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners' father, namely, Noordeen, was a lessee of the respondent Temple and that, after his demise, the petitioners have been continuing the business carried on by their father in the Temple premises. 3. It is further submitted that the petitioners have been displaced pursuant to an interim order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.26210 of 2025. 4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, however, is unable to confirm the said factual position. However, he submits that, if it is found that the petitioners' father, Noordeen, was indeed a lessee of the respondent Temple, the petitioners' respective representations will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respondent to verify whether the petitioners' father, Noordeen, was a lessee of the respondent Temple and, if such verification is in the affirmative, to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' respective representations dated 13.02.2026, on their own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.
