1. Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail. 2. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes such prayer. 3. Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being falsely implicated in several criminal cases due to his political affiliations. 2
4. Perused the case diary. 5. There are number of criminal cases pending as against the petitioner over a period of time. However, sight should not be lost of the fact that the petitioner is a political personality and professed a particular ideology. Issue of false implication of the petitioner remains. 6. In such circumstances, I deem it appropriate to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7. Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S, 2023. The petitioner will report before the Investigating Officer once a week till the conclusion of the investigation as and when he is in custody in the other criminal cases. The petitioner shall appear on every date before the jurisdictional Court on and from the date fixed as and when he is in custody in the other criminal cases for appearance of the accused and in default the jurisdictional Court will pass appropriate order to secure the presence of the petitioner in Court including cancelling the anticipatory bail granted without further reference to this Court. 8.
This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, allowed. 3
