JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY For the Petitioner : Mr. Nilendu Kumar, Advocate Mr. Bikram Kumar Sah, Advocate Mr. Raj Lakshmi Sharma, Advocate For the State : Mr. Jitendra Pandey, A.P.P. ------ Order No.02 / Dated : 23.03.2026 Heard Mr. Nilendu Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. No.216 of 2014 (A) arising out of Murhu P.S. Case No. 76 of 2012. It has been alleged that some unknown persons had dragged the informant towards the market and after forcing him to drink Hadia, had also assaulted him. When the daughter of the informant came to the rescue of the informant, she was shot at. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated only on account of suspicion. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner had absconded since 2012 till 2025. On consideration of the fact that the implication of the petitioner appears to be only on the basis of suspicion, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Khunti in connection with S.T. No.216 of 2014 (A) arising out of Murhu P.S. Case No. 76 of 2012 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial Court on each and every date till the conclusion of trial unless prevented by sufficient cause.
