Mr. Ashutosh Anand No.2, learned counsel for the appellant is permitted to make necessary corrections in the cause title with respect to provision of law in course of day. 2. This application has been preferred by the appellant for condoning a delay of 08 days in filing the appeal. Having been satisfied with the reasons assigned in the instant application, the same is allowed and a delay of 08 days in filing this appeal is hereby condoned. 3. I.A. No. 15756 of 2025 stands disposed of. In Cr. A (D.B.) No. 1568 of 2025 4. This appeal is directed against the order dated 08.08.2025 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 1418 of 2025 arising out of ATS P.S. Case No. 07 of 2023 by the learned A.J.C.- VIII-Cum-Special Judge, ATS, Ranchi, whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. 5. It has been alleged that with respect to extortion and firing, the appellant and one Sonu Kumar were apprehended with firearms and forged Aadhaar Card. 6. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the disclosure made by Chandan Kumar Sao and subsequent thereto the appellant had confessed. 2026:JHHC:124-DB Page | 2 Learned counsel submits that there are no other incriminating materials save and except the confessional statements. Learned counsel adds that the appellant is in custody since 30.04.2024. It has also been submitted that Chandan Kumar Sao has been granted by this court in Cr.A. D.B. no. 871 of 2025. 7. Learned Special Public Prosecutor has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant. 8. Regard being had to the period of custody under by the appellant and manner of his implication, we while setting aside order dated 08.08.2025 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 1418 of 2025 arising out of ATS P.S. Case No. 07 of 2023 by the learned A.J.C.- VIII-Cum-Special Judge, ATS, Ranchi direct the appellant to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C-XVIII-Cum-Special Judge, ATS, Ranchi. 9.
