Court No. 19 (265719) 15.01.2026 (A 50) (S. Banerjee) WPA 27834 of 2025 Pannalal Manna & Ors. Vs. State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Salil Kumar Maiti Ms. Dolan Samanta …for the respondent nos. 8, 9 and 11 None appears for the petitioners at the time of call, no accommodation has been prayed for either. The petitioners have prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to communicate the order dated November 6, 2025 passed in MC Case No. 23 of 2025. Learned advocate appearing for the private- respondent submits that the instant writ petition has already become infructuous as the petitioners have challenged the order dated November 6, 2025 by preferring an appeal under Section 54 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 before the Commissioner, Medinipur Division. A copy of the appeal case no. being MC 23 of 2025 challenging the order dated November 6, 2025 passed by the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Purba Medinipur in MC Case No. 23 of 2025 filed by the learned advocate appearing for the private-respondent is taken on record. Thus, it is evident that the instant writ petition has become infructuous by passage of time. Accordingly, the same stands disposed of as infructuous. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.) 2
