The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner herein is a Sri Lankan refugee and that she obtained an Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, and PAN Card by producing fake documents and hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner based on the complaint lodged by an Advocate. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a citizen of India and that she married one Rajkumar, who is an Indian citizen, and they have been residing in Dindigul for a very long period. He further submitted that the documents produced by the petitioner are not fabricated documents and that she is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Counsel for State of TN (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondent Police, submitted that an FIR has been registered only recently and the investigation is pending. Hence, he opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady and that the accusation made against the petitioner are borne out by the records and custodial interrogation not necessary to investigate the case of this nature, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions: [a] Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned and on further conditions that: [b] the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for the interrogation. [c] The petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation and submit her signature and thump impression for the purpose of investigation. [d] the petitioner shall not commit any offences of similar nature. [e] the petitioner shall not abscond either during investigation or trial. [f] the petitioner shall not tamper with evidence or witness either during investigation or trial. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P(MD) No.13113 of 2026 [g] On breach of any of the aforesaid conditions, the learned Judicial Magistrate/Trial Court is entitled to take appropriate action against the petitioner in accordance with law as if the conditions have been imposed and the petitioner released on bail by the learned Magistrate/Trial Court himself as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in P.K.Shaji vs. State of Kerala [(2005)AIR SCW 5560].
