For Petitioner : Mr.N.Pragalathan For Respondents : Mr.B.Arun Government Advocate (Crl.Side) 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.OP(MD) No.13562 of 2026 ORDER The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction as against the second respondent not to harass him under the guise of enquiry. 2.Perusal of the records reveals that the petitioner's husband has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 10.06.2026 and it has been taken on file in Cr.No.255 of 2026, wherein, it is alleged that the petitioner is missing. Therefore, the respondent police have registered a case under the provisions of Women Missing and Girl Missing. 3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, she has sent Kula Notice to her husband on 09.06.2026 through registered post and having received the same on 10.06.2026, he had lodged the alleged complaint. The learned counsel further submitted that the 9 year old daughter and 17 year old son are with the petitioner. In such circumstances, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of inquiry. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.OP(MD) No.13562 of 2026 5.The facts narrated above which clearly indicate that the petitioner is voluntarily residing away from the complainant, namely her husband.
