JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 31-01-2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant. 2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109(1), 352, 303(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S.. 3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that on 15.08.2025 at about 5:30 AM, all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including these petitioners, assaulted informant and his family members. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2015 of 2026(2) dt.31-01-2026 2/2 behalf of the petitioners that petitioners are quite innocent and have committed no offence. As a matter of fact, both parties are co-villagers and on account of petty dispute, simple maar-peet took place in which both sides sustained injuries. There is case and counter-case. Petitioners claim clean antecedents. 5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners and submitted that petitioners are named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that they, along with other named accused persons, assaulted informant and his family members due to which they sustained grievous injuries. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and nature of injuries sustained by the injured, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners is rejected. shashank/- (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) U T
